I would like to start today by introducing myself
Let's always start with prayer.
Heavenly father we humbly come before your mighty throne. We simply pray that you open our eyes to see your spiritual things, open our hearts to receive your mighty blessings and ears to hear the power of your truth.
In Jesus name Amen.
Today's Topic
Today's Topic
So a spiritual insight God's been teaching me is allowing me to see the total truth about myself. How our own brains can actually lie and deceive our own selves.
Our brain will rationalize our lives making us think we're justified or tell us we're okay when we're really not.
What I mean is I find my brain saying "oh you're not judgmental you're just pointing out a persons truth.
That's it! that's the brain lie!
No! I'm being judgmental and condemning! Yet my brain convinces me I'm being righteous.
The answer is to "become a fruit inspector!
Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Do you want to see the truth about yourself? Take a look at the fruit your actions are bearing or generating in your life and the other people involved. Is there strife, arguments, and no peace? Than irregardless of what your brain is telling you it's of your human efforts and judgment and not of God period!
When you see this occurring STOP IT!

Let's pray together!
Father, we pray you give us ears to hear your word, Eyes to see your spiritual truth and an open heart to receive.
In Jesus precious name

Once again, I am only sharing with you what God is doing in my life right now!
I think so many times in our lives we lose sight in our day to day grind of who God is.
We fix our attention on our problems instead of on the one that holds the answer to any of life's problems we may be going through. It's in our human nature!
What's not in our human nature is to see what's real. For it's not with our human eyes we see the truth about our lives. No, it's with our spiritual eyes we see our lives as God does. Our spiritual eyes only see the absolute truth of our lives and the trials we are going through.
As you may know Oprah Winfrey is my sister and God has put her in my life to help me learn spiritual truth.
Something Oprah says applies to what I'm sharing.
In order to say yes to life, you have to say yes to life's experiences!

It's heavy! Deep breath and soak it in.
This is a spiritual truth peeps!
Notice Oprah doesn't say, open to only good life experiences? No! Because in our lives on planet earth there are seasons. Hard and easy seasons.

A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.
I'm not sure if Oprah realizes, all of our life experiences as human beings on planet earth are summed up in the above scripture.
Sorry peeps I'm going to have to stop. My stroke brain is shutting down! More next Sunday. Who knows this may turn into a series?
